I am thinking of painting my house. Do I need to tell anyone?
Yes. Painting, decks, room additions, roofs, swimming pools, and fence construction or modifications are just some of the things which are restricted by the HOA. Written notification should be submitted to Area Real Estate, which includes a simple plan of the project and/or city permit. Please review the "ARB Requirements.
How many homes are part of the Stone Creek HOA?
There are 351 homes that make up Stone Creek.
How much are the Home Owner's Association dues?
The dues are currently $100 a year.
When are the Home Owner's Association dues due?
The dues are due once a year on January 31.
What are these dues used for?
The pond area for mowing and maintenance of trees and shrubs. The HOA also uses the money to pay utilities on the common areas, maintenance of the three entrances, for insurance on the board, the summer picnic or annual meeting dinner, the neighborhood garage sale advertisement, taxes, and large debris pickup days.
How can I be a part of the Association?
The board has an open meeting every year that is announced at least 30 days prior. At this meeting, all board members are elected and every home owner is invited to attend and be a part of the next board.

What are the most common violations of the HOA?
Trash, per the City of Blue Springs, can only be visible on the front of a house on trash day and must be within five (5) feet of the house. Trash containers cannot be left out front all of the time.
RV's, boats and trailers have a restriction of being parked in a driveway, or along the street, for not more than 12 hours.
